Invites Non-Biology Sophomores and Juniors with an interest in the Life Sciences to participate in a Summer Research Experience with any of 20-30 Biomedical Research Faculty at:
from early June to mid August. Earn while you Learn at B-SURE
APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR 2008: The program will primarily focus on an in-depth research
experience in a host lab where the candidate will work on their own defined
research project in collaboration with post-docs and graduate students
trained in various biomedical fields.
There will also be several enrichment experiences incorporated
into the program, including:
In situ hybridization of Drosophila embryos
Program DurationThe program runs for ten weeks (early June through mid August) during which time you will be required to devote full time to the program.Program SupportStudents in the program will receive a salary of at least $3000 with additional allowance for travel and housing costs for non local students.
