(Physiology): We are using a multidisciplinary approach to investigate molecular mechanisms that regulate neuronal calcium. We exploit the Drosophila genetic model system to manipulate proteins and sub-cellular structures involved in calcium regulation and we use live imaging and electrophysiological techniques to probe the impact of these manipulations.
